One of the cultural activities we participated in while in Florence was a cooking lesson. We made pizza, homemade pizza, out of flour, water, made into dough and then “decorated” our pizza, we had a chef with us, he was really cool too. We were in a group of 24, some from Ohio, and some from Illinois. It was really good experience surprisingly, because anyone who knows me, knows that I hate cooking, and I completely enjoyed this experience! I took a lot of pictures just to prove to my friends and family that I made pizza and gelato in Italy. 🙂 Having this experience in Florence, was definitely my favorite part of the Florence trip, and we earned a certificate of proficiency, which is now framed in my room. 🙂
