Diplomat-In-Residence Edward Loo was recently on the SPC Clearwater campus to share information about opportunities for SPC students to work as paid interns abroad for the US State Department!  If you are interested in applying for this wonderful opportunity to work abroad, the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program could possibly assist you in funding your internship experience!

The deadline for both Summer and Fall funding is March 4th.  Act quickly to submit your application!

The Gilman International Scholarship offers grants for U.S. citizen undergraduate students of limited financial means to pursue academic studies or credit-bearing, career-oriented internships abroad. Over 2,300 scholarships of up to $5,000 will be awarded this academic year. Students who apply for and receive the Gilman International Scholarship to study abroad are then eligible to receive a Critical Need Language Award from the Gilman Scholarship Program of $8,000.
