This week St. Petersburg College will be celebrating International Education Week!
International Education Week (IEW) is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is an effort to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.
Join us as we celebrate with international themed events taking place college-wide!
- Join us at the Clerwater campus library on Monday for English Conversation Hour from 2:30pm-3:30pm. This is intended to help English as a second language learners practice their English conversation skills. This is something that we do not only during IEW, but every Monday during the school year. Participation in this event counts as extra-curricular activity for the Global Citizen Pathway. To learn more about GPS click here.
- Join us at the Vet Tech campus for an International Coffee Lounge and Learn event in the Lobby from 11:30-12:30.
