Today we were able to sleep in…yaaayyy!!! No early classes and no early sightseeing. I think everyone enjoyed their morning off. Our tour guide Jason took us to the Vatican Museum and we saw many historical sculptures.

We then walked to the Sistine Chapel. It was amazing! Everyone just stands around in awe of the beauty of these paintings. Lastly, we proceeded to St. Peter’s Basilica. When I first walked in, the first thing that caught my eye was the spectacular alter. Words cannot describe the beauty and glory of this place.

Today was what this trip was so much about, at least for me it was. Tomorrow is our last day in Italy…:-(…..
