Employers are confident in SPC Vet Tech program

SPC’s partnership with The Cat Hospital at Palm Harbor offers students the opportunity to apply knowledge from the college’s Veterinary Technology program. Alexa Tramontano, the practice manager for The Cat Hospital,  believes “graduates from St. Petersburg College fill that skills gap.” The professors are industry leaders in the workforce, giving employers confidence in an education provided by the program.

World-class experience in a community environment

St. Petersburg College’s veterinary technology facility is world-class. It was awarded the  LEED® Gold Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. Students learn in 32,000 square feet of  state-of-the-art classrooms, labs, surgery and x-ray suites. Students experience a community environment, with the one-on-one attention needed in the classroom.

The Veterinary Technology program offers students the flexibility to complete the  Associate in Science degree completely online or on campus.  Students can also advance their careers with the Bachelor of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology.
