Class of 2022 AA-Music Transfer Degree Major Aaron Trill is putting his degree to work as the new Upper School Choral Instructor at Keswick Christian School in St. Petersburg. His high school students perform in concerts, participate in Florida All-State Choir auditions, and were selected to participate in the upcoming Disney Candlelight Processional.

“One of my favorite memories was getting to visit local high schools with the SPC Madrigalians, and perform some of our repertoire to expose future college students to the great things that the SPC music program has to offer. I also enjoyed performing in themed concerts each semester with the SPC College Choir. “

Aaron thrived during his time at SPC, winning first prize in the FCSAA Winter Symposium Young Artists Competition, and participating in SPC’s College Chorus and Madrigalians. Trill is also an accomplished horn player, and successfully auditioned in to SPC’s Community Wind Symphony.
Aaron offers the following advice to current and prospective SPC AA-Music Transfer Students.
“Use your talents to serve others. Music has a unique way of ministering to people, and the joy you receive from simply seeing your music touch someone’s heart is far greater than any other achievement you could accomplish. In such a competitive field, it is easy to strive for greatness by diminishing others or being selfish. However, music should be viewed as a great blessing that we can use to serve others, and developing your skills to excellence is best achieved with a mindset of selflessness.”
