Dean Setterlind and Professor Brad Yourth have championed the wireless, collaborative classroom experience to give technology students what employers are looking for in new hires.<\/p>\n

The new Solstice wireless Mirroring and Collaboration classroom is being assembled.<\/h2>\n

The award-winning Solstice Mirroring and Collaboration technology will become a reality in CL ES 318. With a Solstice-enabled display in the room, any number of users can instantly connect, share and control the display, fostering collaboration and decision-making. Solstice addresses market demand for content-based collaboration across multiple meeting locations.<\/p>\n

In the classroom, four clustered student groups will have wireless, simultaneous, interactive access to a real-time collaborative work environment. It is exciting because this technology will include and engage the distance learner as well.<\/p>\n

The Solstice Pod<\/a> is a software-based collaboration solution integrated on a hardware platform purpose-built for wireless media streaming. The small form-factor Pod connects to the display in the room, enabling multiple users to instantly connect, share and control content on the display, facilitating presentations.<\/p>\n

Solstice collaboration products have been deployed in 21 of US News and World Report\u2019s top 25 Universities in the US. Solstice has quickly become the standard for collaborative learning among the US\u2019s top institutions for higher education, and in 2017 Mersive will look to expand its success in international education markets.<\/p>\n

With flexible deployment options and the enterprise-class network, security, and IT management features, the Pod is a transformative solution for a broad range of collaboration settings. The Pod can be deployed on existing campus networks, or enable the built-in Wireless Access Point for off-network, \u2018drop-in\u2019 deployments.<\/p>\n

Mersive Solstice software allows any number of users to simultaneously stream content from computers, tablets, and phones to any display \u2013 wirelessly. By removing the need for video cables and converters, Solstice improves meeting productivity and transforms traditional conference rooms and classrooms into collaborative, multi-user environments. Users can connect, share, and control any display from their own devices using their existing network.<\/p>\n

Mersive, a leading provider of wireless media streaming and collaboration software, today announced the launch of Solstice 3.0 featuring Multi-Room, the next generation of its award-winning collaboration product.<\/p>\n
