The SPC CTF Team Titans took home a third-place finish in their first Raymond James Capture the Flag 2017 information security competition in April.<\/p>\n

Student competitors William Wantling, Michael Milford, James Austin, and Jason Crochunis, along with faculty mentor Laura Malave, participated in the CTF competition held at the Raymond James International Headquarters in St. Petersburg.<\/p>\n

This was the first CTF competition for the SPC CTF Team Titans and outstanding work by the students who prepared in less than a month.<\/p>\n

Team Titans, I am so very proud of your work at the Raymond James Capture the Flag. Congratulations on a fantastic performance at your first CTF. I look forward to working with you in the future.<\/p>\n

Other colleges and universities and colleges that took part included\u00a0the University of Central Florida, the University of South Florida, the University of Florida, the University of North Florida, the University of Tampa, Penn State University, and St. Leo University.<\/p>\n
