Do you love science, but aren\u2019t sure if you want a career in a health related field? Then perhaps you would be interested in a new degree coming to SPC in the Fall of 2015; an associates in science in Biotechnology. What is biotechnology? It is the use of biological processes to develop new technology. These new technologies have helped improve our lives and the \u201chealth\u201d of our planet. This is an exciting field that uses state of the art\u00a0scientific techniques and applications. So if you have a sense of curiosity on how things work, a desire to help people and\/or make the world a better place, are good with your hands, are detail oriented, enjoy working collaboratively with others and want to learn new things this degree program is for you.
