The new club held its first meeting Sept. 3. The club will meet on the first and third Thursdays every month from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in SC-234.<\/p>\n<p>SPC <a href=\"http:\/\/web.spcollege.edu\/instructors\/id\/menard.ray\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Microbiology Professor Ray Menard<\/a>, spoke on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An Investigation of the Antimicrobial Properties of Spices<\/li>\n<li>Antibiotic-Producing Bacteria<\/li>\n<li>WHAT\u2019S IN THE SOAP???<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The club plans to have 2-3 science and engineering seminar speakers during fall and spring terms.<\/p>\n<p>Pictured above (from left) are <a href=\"http:\/\/web.spcollege.edu\/instructors\/id\/vaughan.john\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Professor John Vaughan<\/a>, co-advisor of Science and Engineering Club; Kaitlynn Galloway, Club Vice President; Dr. Ray Menard, Speaker; Piero Rodriguez, SPC student; Allison DiVito, Club President.
