On the evening of March 3<sup>rd<\/sup>, 2016 at 6pm in the Florida Room, 19 cadets graduated. A huge success for the class: the number of graduates was the same as the number who began the course! Invocation was given by Ashley Burge. Evan Huston, chosen by his classmates for this honor,\u00a0delivered a heartwarming class address outlining some of the best times the class had, some of the hardest, and the camaraderie that held them together through it all.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 18.0pt;background: white;margin: 0in 0in .25in 0in\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif;color: #141412\">Many students received awards for their physical and\u00a0intellectual achievements throughout the 21-week academy. Including Jonathan Boozy (pictured right) <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/public-safety\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2016\/03\/4.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-721\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-721 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/public-safety\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2016\/03\/4-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"4\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/public-safety-policy-legal-studies-educational-information\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2016\/03\/4-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/public-safety-policy-legal-studies-educational-information\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2016\/03\/4-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/public-safety-policy-legal-studies-educational-information\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2016\/03\/4-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/public-safety-policy-legal-studies-educational-information\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2016\/03\/4.jpg 1068w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>for high scholarly achievement. 2 students, Vassil Raytchev and Christopher Zak, were recognized for their contribution to Student Government Association, and another 10 recognized for giving their time to assist on campus during a Martin Luther King event. After the conferment of degrees, Coordinator Andrews explained to the audience that each day of the academy, cadets would recite the code of ethics and invited several cadets <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/public-safety\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2016\/03\/5.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-722\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-722 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/public-safety\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2016\/03\/5-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"5\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/public-safety-policy-legal-studies-educational-information\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2016\/03\/5-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/public-safety-policy-legal-studies-educational-information\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2016\/03\/5-683x1024.jpg 683w, https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/public-safety-policy-legal-studies-educational-information\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2016\/03\/5.jpg 712w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a>to the stage to lead their class in the recitation, followed by a benediction by one cadet. After being guided by their Instructor for a final fall-out, the class and crowd erupted in joyful yells, hugs, and tears by some.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 18.0pt;background: white;margin: 0in 0in .25in 0in\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif;color: #141412\">The Allstate campus wishes the graduates well as they prepare for their state exams and eventual careers as officers of the law.
