On Sept. 16 and 17, Clearwater FAAME students participated in two power-packed days honoring and appreciating the U.S. Constitution and remembering the events of 9\/11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SPC hosted a two-day event to encourage all generations of citizens and residents of the U.S. to celebrate and reflect on what it represents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the two-day event, in recognition of Constitution Day, attorney David Moran gave an informative speech regarding the Constitution and the origin of the U.S. Supreme Court.\u00a0The U.S. Constitution was signed by delegates at the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, Penn, on September 17, 1787. The Constitution serves as the supreme law of the land and provides the framework for our government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Sept. 17, Dr. Smiley gave a spirited speech regarding 9\/11 and its impact, even to this day on our lives.\u00a0In addition, he gave reflection regarding the American flag, and 2,000 U.S. flags were planted on the Clearwater quad, and more than 50 FAAME men, combined from the inaugural group to the current group, gathered to commemorate, remember and reflect on this rich history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
