The St. Petersburg College Allstate Center<\/a> will host its 4th Annual\u00a0Touch-a-Truck<\/a> on April 14\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The free event will showcase different types of vehicles used in public safety<\/a> and other career fields, allowing children and adults a glimpse into what it’s like to work in these areas.<\/p>\n

What is Touch-a-Truck?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Touch-a-Truck<\/a>\u00a0allows all ages to engage with public safety organizations and other groups throughout Tampa Bay.<\/p>\n

You can have one-on-one interactions with our community\u2019s police and fire departments and learn what their typical day of job involves. Children will have the opportunity to explore police cruisers, firetrucks, ambulances, helicopters and more! The event also includes free food, music, an escape room, and a rock climbing wall.<\/p>\n
