The display will be in the Library\/Learning Center in the campus&#8217; FA building through the end of February.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This blog post was written by Katherine Deschamps, one of the students who helped create the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spcollege.edu\/friends-partners\/about\/locations\/tarpon-springs-campus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tarpon Springs Campus<\/a> display of African American History Month heroes. Ethan Hart, Associate Director of Learning Resources at the Tarpon Springs Campus, worked with students to develop this project.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>William H. Hastie, Bass Reeves, President Barack Obama, and Thurgood Marshall are among African American History Month heroes whose work influenced the fields of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spcollege.edu\/degrees-training\/public-safety-public-policy-and-legal-studies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Public Safety, Public Policy, and Legal Studies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h5>William H. Board of Education case, that in turn ended racial segregation in public schools.
