{"id":1751,"date":"2017-10-19T21:56:42","date_gmt":"2017-10-20T01:56:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/public-safety-policy-legal-studies-educational-information\/?p=1751"},"modified":"2024-01-30T15:52:30","modified_gmt":"2024-01-30T20:52:30","slug":"haunted-open-house","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/public-safety-policy-legal-studies-educational-information\/haunted-open-house\/","title":{"rendered":"Enjoy a Haunted Open House at the Allstate Center Oct. 27"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spcollege.edu\/friends-partners\/about\/locations\/allstate-center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">St. Petersburg College Allstate Center<\/a> is hosting its 4<sup>th<\/sup> annual haunted\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.spcollege.edu\/events\/halloween-open-house\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Halloween Open House<\/a> on Friday, Oct. 27,\u00a0from 6 \u2013 9 pm.<\/p>\n<p>This <strong>FREE<\/strong> event is open to all SPC faculty, staff, and students, as well as the local community.<\/p>\n<p>Participants can expect a eerie good time with each floor of the Allstate Center crawling with Halloween activities for the entire family to enjoy!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On the first floor, parents can bring their children for \u201csafe\u201d trick-or-treating. There will also be opportunities for children to take photos with firefighters, as well as plenty of games and activities for a spooktacular evening.<\/li>\n<li>On the second floor, we have created a multi-room haunted house, featuring the SPC Allstate jail cell, mock crime scene apartment, and courtroom!<\/li>\n<li>Attendees will also have the opportunity to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spcollege.edu\/degrees-training\/public-safety-public-policy-and-legal-studies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">learn about SPC programs<\/a> and meet local community vendors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/public-safety-policy-legal-studies-educational-information\/spc-allstate-hosted-3rd-annual-haunted-halloween-house\/\">Last year<\/a> more than 350 people attended. Zombies, vampires, scary clowns, and a spectral cemetery were all part of the event. Each year the haunts are badder, bigger, and better.
