Half the class got to transplant Staghorn coral, while the other half transplanted Elkhorn coral. There were many blue and yellow-headed wrasses on the restoration sites that were super curious of what we were doing.<\/p>\n<p>We had free time from noon until 7pm to study and\/or play. During the free time some of us went to the beach, others snorkeled or dove around buddy\u2019s reef, and some just relaxed around the beautiful resort. While walking around the resort we saw several rainbow whip tail lizards and bare-eyed pigeons.<\/p>\n<p>At 7pm it was time to sit on the beach and take or first in country quiz. Later that evening we met with the turtle conservation of Bonaire and learned about their project to safe the sea turtles. At 10pm that night a group of us went for an amazing night dive, where we were followed by a school of feeding tarpon.<\/p>\n<p>This entire day was extremely rewarding, fun, and educational.
