This felt very nice and made me feel ready for the day. After breakfast I found out that I would be going to the New Market clinic that I was originally scheduled to go to on Monday. This was very exciting because I was eager to get out from the sandals resort and getting to see the Jamaican community. After breakfast we all packed into a bus and was off to provide treatment to the Jamaican community. After about 45 minutes we arrived at the New Market clinic to a line a patients waiting for care. They stood outside and waited patiently while we unloaded and set up for the day. This was the first time I realized that they were waiting for me and my services that my services were actually worth waiting on. This feeling made me realize that we were making a difference and I have to say I was the best feeling I have felt in a long time. I saw a wide variety of patients from all walks of life and each one of them were very respectful and deserving of the treatment we provided. At times it was humid, muggy, and just plain hot but after seeing the faces of the patients we provided services to I would gladly go hungry to complete treatment on such a grateful community.
