Israel Study Abroad student Rachel Korman talks about how things have changed in Israel over the last 3,000 years, and how there is hope for future changes as well:<\/p>\n

Today we saw David’s Tomb and went through Hezekiah’s Tunnel (amongst lots of cool other things), but these two were especially cool. Going through the tunnel was incredible. It was interesting to discover how much shorter people were 3 thousand years ago. I don’t think any basketball players would find going through the tunnel pleasurable.<\/p>\n

We are getting some very good information about the current state of Israel and possible solutions for the disagreements (an understatement) for the future. It is refreshing to not have to rely on media schemes and get the news from an intelligent citizen who knows about it. We were very excited to learn how safe Israel is! I am sure nothing will be decided any time soon, but our tour guide, Shlomo, is very optimistic that it will happen in his lifetime.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
