Today \"10176146_268898463293388_4117584857106116523_n\"<\/a>was our first full day here in Costa Rica and we got to take the boat out for our first day of catching sea turtles. We threw out large nets into the bay then jumped into the water with snorkels to make sure the nets weren’t tangled and in proper position. We ended up catching 4 turtles!<\/p>\n

We took measurements, tissue samples, and tagged them all. Then we released them back into the water. It was an awesome experience!! None of the turtles today needed to be brought back to the hospital.<\/p>\n

It was however still an eventful day and after eating my authentic Costa Rican dinner I was ready for bed early!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
