We learned what was expected of us as assistants and what LAST purpose and goals were. After our orientation we gathered our supplies\/lunch and headed out to the boats.<\/p>\n<p>The plan was to drop our nets, remove the tangles and then head to the beach and wait until we caught a turtle. We caught 4 green turtles and was able to take biometrics and tissue samples.<\/p>\n<p>All in all it was a back breaking but rewarding day of work!
