See what young artists in China are doing at the My Generation<\/i> exhibition at the Tampa Museum of Art, June 7-September 28, 2014.<\/p>\n

In this first-ever U.S. exhibition focusing solely on post-Mao artists, My Generation<\/i> explores how China\u2019s mega-development has impacted its youth culture. Featuring the work of 27 up-and-coming mainland Chinese artists, including digital art, video, photography, ink paintings, and more, the exhibition creates a dialogue about Chinese artists\u2019 place in a globalized art world. Almost all of the artists showcased in My Generation<\/i> are products of China\u2019s One Child Policy, and use their art to address issues of alienation, rebellion, and self-definition.<\/p>\n

\"1\"<\/a>My Generation<\/i> is being presented simultaneously at the Tampa Museum of Art and the St Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts.<\/p>\n
