After everyone had joined us we easily found our driver and started the 30 minute drive into Paris. When we arrived at the hotel the rooms were not ready yet (it was about 11am so this was expected) so we locked up our luggage and decided what to do next. Some of us decided to take a nap and others went out to explore. Myself and a few others needed to eat so we found a place that sells crepes that Dr. Manias had recommend. I ordered a cappuccino and a flamb\u00e9 crepe that the waiter lit on fire after handing it to me. Everything I had was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed my first meal in Paris.<\/p>\n<p>Later in the day we met up in the lobby of the hotel to meet our walking tour guide. Once the tour started we zig-zagged our way through the city, seeing most of the highlights and ending near the Eiffel tower. We decided not the go up the tower right then because the weather was a bit dreary. We plan to go try again on Monday. At the end of the tour most of the group decided to take a taxi back to the hotel, while a few brave souls (myself included) decided to walk back and look for a place to eat. This may have not been the best decision because within 10 minutes of walking it started to pour. After about 40 minutes of walking through the rain we reached a restaurant near the hotel and decided to get dinner.
