Today was an excellent day!\u00a0 We got to visit INCAE, the top business school in all of Latin America.\u00a0 Alexandra Esquivel, the Director of International Programs gave us an excellent tour of the facilities, which included several of the classrooms, study rooms, cafeteria, gym, pool and the tennis courts.\u00a0 During the tour she told us that every student that attends INCAE lives on campus.\u00a0 As we drove through the gates we saw the housing provided to the students.\u00a0 Up to 8 students live in one house, it is far different from other MBA programs.\u00a0 The school believes that in order to be successful in the program that one must be completely emerged, hence the mandatory living on campus with fellow students.\u00a0 They do offer housing for married couples as well.<\/p>\n

The next portion of our visit was with Thomas Bloch, the Director of Libraries.\u00a0 Here he gave us a brief history of INCAE and shared with us the many accreditations that have been earned.<\/p>\n

Alexandra walked us to out next stop in our tour, and to me the highlight of the visit.\u00a0 Ryan Frazee, the Director of Admissions gave us a thought provoking presentation.\u00a0 He spoke to us about an MBA needing to be a world-class challenge.\u00a0 Achieving this high of a degree at INCAE will provide each student with a sense of wanting to provide results with the education received and that earning the degree was secondary.\u00a0 The school\u2019s goal is to produce graduates whose experiences in the program will help them improve the lives of people they meet in the future.\u00a0 I just loved that way of thinking.\u00a0 I believe that we are here to help one another in any way possible.\u00a0 It is the responsibility of those who can help, to do so.<\/p>\n
