This helped ease my burden so I could plan my days in the lovely city of Tokyo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the plane to Japan, the gentleman sitting next to me was so kind. He was traveling to Thailand for work. Once I told him where our group was headed, he assured me that I would gain a lifetime of memories. Japanese culture was proudly displayed all through the airport. That made my emotions all the more real. Also, our tour guide Yu-san was so sweet and adorable. The elegant and rich colors of the Buddha temple gave chills. How extraordinary it is that people can walk by and see this every day? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The traditional tea ceremony we had gave me a feeling of calmness and acceptance. In fact, this intimate and honorable ceremony had everyone in our group calm&#8211;a first in Japan for these American Students! This experience was the most memorable part of this trip.&nbsp;&nbsp;Patience is easily the Japanese motto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saying goodbye to the lifelong friends I made was toughest thing overall. It\u2019s amazing that every time I think about Japan, I get to remember the amazing people who were with me on this journey.
