\"\"<\/a>This past May I Studied Abroad with SPC! I got to live out not just one of my dreams, but many, and it’s all thanks to the Study Abroad program at St. Petersburg College! Before you read on, if you are even considering studying abroad, I highly suggest it.\u00a0 You\u2019ll learn so much, and have such an incredible experience.\u00a0 Still aren\u2019t convinced?\u00a0 I\u2019ll tell you my story, then.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve always wanted to go to Europe, especially London, but it was one of those dreams that I never thought would be possible.\u00a0 Then suddenly, thanks to St. Petersburg College, I was in a plane sailing over the Atlantic Ocean.\u00a0 Then I was in London, surrounded by so much culture and history, and I got to experience this with good friends and great company.\u00a0 The food, contrary to popular belief, was delicious.\u00a0 The sights, sounds, and all that I got to explore will stay imprinted in my mind forever.<\/p>\n

As an actor, being in London was such a humbling experience.\u00a0 We got to walk the streets that Shakespeare waked.\u00a0 We got to see his home, and the Globe, although a replica, still upon the exact spot where he worked.\u00a0 There were introductory workshops at his birthplace and at the Globe where we got to learn the traditional ways of acting in Shakespeare\u2019s time.\u00a0 Most importantly, we got to see four amazing, globally reviewed plays, including the controversial production of Romeo and Juliet<\/em> and David Tennant\u2019s over-sold show, Don Juan in SoHo.<\/em>\u00a0 (We even got to see him after the show, and he signed my program!)\u00a0 Seeing these shows and having these experiences directly in the place where theater is born was an absolutely mind-blowing feeling.<\/p>\n

I am so incredibly grateful to Professor Scott Cooper and the entire Study Abroad at SPC team for giving me such an incredible, life-changing opportunity.\u00a0 London was an experience that I still cannot give the right words for.\u00a0 The city is beautiful, the sights were unforgettable, and I have made so many memories.\u00a0 These photos are just two of over 750 that I took, if that says anything about how great of an experience I had!\u00a0 Please, if you are considering studying abroad, do so immediate!\u00a0 You will not regret a single thing!<\/p>\n
