\"\"<\/a>Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers out there! This morning we had a two tank dive. We went to Angel City for the first dive. It’s easy to see why they call it Angel City; although it only had a few angels, the topography was what angels notoriously love to swim over. Said topography was a double reef system, which is an amazing thing to see. The reef extends out from shore with a sand boulevard in between the point where another reef starts. The second dive was on the dive site called Alice in Wonderland (my favorite so far, by far); the topography of the coral was breathtaking! The fish life was amazing! Certain fish I get really excited about, and one of those fish is a juvenile French angel. I saw not one, but two juvenile French angels at this dive site, definitely making it one to remember! Also on this site, there was a sea of soft coral swaying in the slight surge from the waves above. This made the bottom look alive!<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, the plan was to got to Washington Slagbaai national park, but the van had other plans. The van became thirsty for some gasoline, however the only gas station that was on the way to the park was in Rincon, which closed at 1. Alas, we decided to press forward towards the park. Once the low fuel light came on, we pulled over and had a discussion about how to proceed. We decided the best course of action was to pull off at the road because we didn’t want to be stranded in the middle of no where. The place we pulled off to was called Karpata. While the other van doubled back to get gas, we explored an abandoned plantation. It had two lodge rooms, a place to develop photos the old fashioned way, a room to store the chemicals used to develop these photos, a kitchen and an office. This place was really cool! Finally after about an hour and a half, the other van showed up with gas. We filled our van and decided to go back to the hotel. What could have been a disaster with the gas issue turned out to be a great adventure!<\/p>\n
