We had just hit land after our first ferry ride across Victoria Harbor in Hong Kong. I was standing with the group talking to someone and as our conversation ended, I was just looking around taking in my surroundings, when a monk appeared out of nowhere.<\/p>\n<p>He took my hand and raised it to his forehead, then rubbed his prayer beads on my forehead. With a slight bow,\u00a0\u00a0he walked away. Everyone in our group was surprised. It really felt like he appeared out of nowhere.<\/p>\n<p>If I had been goofing off, I may not have gotten to have this experience.\u00a0\u00a0If you don\u2019t take the time to just stop and be, you might miss out on some pretty amazing things!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An amazing moment can happen any time while you&#8217;re abroad.
