I would say that it was definitely worth the wait to finally be able to land and explore Australia!\u00a0 The first couple of days we were able to explore and go on a couple excursions…it definitely allowed us to see how vast and diverse Australia really is.\u00a0 Monday we stayed on the mainland and were able to see the turtles that are currently housed at the Tingara location.\u00a0 Tracy was full of information and allowed us to participate in all aspects of caring for the turtles as well as explaining to us why things are done the way they are.\u00a0 It really was amazing to see the time and effort that goes into caring for the turtles as well as the monitoring.\u00a0 My favorite of the day was probably Woodson!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
