My home country is a little bit like France because my country was colonized by France. The first language in my home country is French and people are known to be friendly and hard workers.<\/p>\n<p>I came to the U.S because my father used to study in the U.S and when he got all his diplomas, he went home and actually lived a\u00a0good life. Also, my sister lives here and so does my brother. I also wanted to be bilingual because this is a really good skill to have in my country.\u00a0It makes it easier to find a job. I like to learn more about new culture because in America you meet people from everywhere and also living here without my family helped me growing up.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2016\/04\/ivory-coast-map-820x637.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-12052\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-12052 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2016\/04\/ivory-coast-map-820x637-300x233.jpg\" alt=\"ivory-coast-map-820x637\" width=\"368\" height=\"286\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2016\/04\/ivory-coast-map-820x637-300x233.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2016\/04\/ivory-coast-map-820x637-768x597.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2016\/04\/ivory-coast-map-820x637.jpg 820w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 368px) 100vw, 368px\" \/><\/a>My sister is the one who found SPC\u00a0for me and she has been living in Clearwater so it was convenient for me to go here.\u00a0When I started studying at SPC e<span style=\"line-height: 1.5\">verything was different for me because in my country we go to school from Monday through Friday from\u00a08 am to 4pm. Here you choose your schedule and this is cool.
