It has been a week since I got back home and I don&#8217;t think that I have been able to process it all yet. The experience to work with the students of Jamaica was an amazing experience that I will never forget. The smiles on their faces every morning were amazing to see and their eagerness to learn and do the work was something I wish American kids had! The week teaching was hard and it had its challenges with being in a school where we didn&#8217;t really have a schedule but again working with those students and the connections that I made with the kids almost instantly were what got me through the days filled with super sticky humidity and extremely \u00a0loud classrooms.<\/p>\n<p>I am so glad and thankful for the amazing opportunity to go on this trip and I know that I have learned and experienced more from the dedication of the teachers and the attitudes of the students than they learned from me teaching them!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I don&#8217;t even really know what to say after this trip!
