Serino is a member of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/spcollege.edu\/future-students\/degrees-training\/health-sciences-and-veterinary-technology\/emergency-medical-services\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">college\u2019s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) faculty<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>If You Didn\u2019t Write It Down, It Never Happened: Critical EMS Reporting Skills for EMTs and Paramedics<\/em> is Serino\u2019s second publication that focuses on emergency medicine and comes less than a year after <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/health-sciences-nursing-veterinary-technology-educational-information\/ems-faculty-publishes-1st-book\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">publishing his first book<\/a><\/strong>, <em>Not So Basic!: Tips to Help You Through the EMT Course,<\/em> in December 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/health-sciences-nursing-veterinary-technology-educational-information\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2020\/09\/Screen-Shot-2020-09-10-at-10.59.33-AM-638x1024.png\" alt=\"Cover of Paul Serino's new book. The book will also take a look at the hierarchy of professionals who would be looking over an EMT or Paramedic\u2019s final report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to Serino\u2019s two books, he has also had several articles published with the national EMS trade magazine, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.emsworld.com\/taxonomy\/term\/10037\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EMS World<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Serino has been with SPC since 2016 when he moved to Tampa with his family after working as a firefighter and teaching EMS classes for the University of New Mexico (UNM). He originally earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in journalism from UNM and worked for a short time in television and radio before deciding to become a Paramedic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Soon after working with Albuquerque Ambulance in 1999, Serino began Paramedic school at Eastern New Mexico in Roswell, New Mexico, and graduated with National Academic Honors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>To learn more about
