All Florida children are eligible, even if one or both parents is working or in school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What KidCare Offers<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>More than 147,000 children in Florida are currently living without health insurance, but may be eligible for low-cost or completely free health insurance through Florida KidCare. With four unique Florida KidCare programs \u2013 Medicaid for children, MediKids, Florida Healthy Kids and the Children\u2019s Medical Services Managed Care Plan \u2013 the simple and free application process is designed to identify the best fit for the family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All four Florida KidCare coverage options include <br>\u2022    Doctor visits<br>\u2022    Check-ups<br>\u2022    Hospital stays<br>\u2022    Surgeries<br>\u2022    Immunizations<br>\u2022    Prescriptions<br>\u2022    Emergencies<br>\u2022    Vision and hearing<br>\u2022    Dental<br>\u2022    Mental health services and more<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What KidCare Costs<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Most families pay nothing at all, and many families pay as little as $15 or $20 a month. Families not eligible for subsidized coverage may purchase Florida KidCare at the full-pay monthly premium, which is competitively priced. A free online eligibility calculator is available to help Florida families interested in applying for Florida KidCare.
