He began his EMS career in Bay County in 1981, and started teaching Emergency Medical Technology classes with Gulf Coast Community College in 1985.<\/p>\n<p>After relocating to Pinellas County in 1991, he worked as a Training Officer with Sunstar and as an SPC adjunct providing Continuing Medical Education to the Pinellas County EMS system.<\/p>\n<p>In 1997, he joined the college full time and assumed the position of Lead EMT Instructor, a position he has held for the last 20 years. He was also a recipient of this award in 2003.<\/p>\n<p>As he works toward a retirement date in 2020, he continues to be active both in the classroom and the profession.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations on your well-deserved acknowledgement Ted!
