\n\t\t\t\tNursing student Tiffany Bullock assists an employee at All College Day.\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\nBy participating in this activity, students were able to apply the concepts and skills in community health of health promotion and education. Students participated in health screenings, blood pressure checks and education with employees who attended these sessions.<\/p>\n
Mr. Mark-Anthony Bailey, the employee wellness coordinator, commented about the student\u2019s participation.<\/p>\n
\u201cTheir skill, professionalism and expertise allowed us to serve over 500 employees through the Biometric Screening and Flu Shot process in a timely, organized and smooth manner,” he said. “They were willing to change roles as needed and because of them, employees were able to quickly return to their training sessions. Our outside vendor even offered some of them part-time employment as they was so impressed with their performance.\u201d<\/p>\n
