The event, which starts at 4 p.m., aims\u00a0to inform students, those affected by cancer and the public about how to prevent the disease, how to become a certified mastectomy fitter and how to find local resources for dealing with the \u201cC\u201d word &#8211; cancer.<\/p>\n<p>At 5 p.m., all attendees will be directed to the HEC auditorium for a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Eric Carver, HEC&#8217;s provost. The panel will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leona Hamrick, PA \u2013 breast cancer survivor and physician\u2019s assistant<\/li>\n<li>David Bloom, MD, Ph.D. \u2013 oncologist at Wellspring Oncology<\/li>\n<li>Alisa Savoretti \u2013 breast cancer survivor and founder of My Hope Chest<\/li>\n<li>Deborah Curtis, BSN, RN \u2013 breast cancer survivor and certified mastectomy fitter<\/li>\n<li>Julianna Stoll \u2013 thyroid cancer survivor and certified yoga instructor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Win a prize<\/h5>\n<p>Join us for a chance to win a free mastectomy fitter course with SPC and participate in BayCare\u2019s <em>#InOurHands<\/em> campaign!<\/p>\n<h5>Participating organizations and vendors<\/h5>\n<p>Representatives from a variety of organizations and vendors will be taking part in the event.
