Participants not only learned about CAD software and CAD classes offered at SPC, but they were also able to hear from&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/hashtag\/spctitanalumni?source=feed_text&amp;epa=HASHTAG&amp;__xts__%5B0%5D=68.ARAt3alN9nvOmmwe3Fj17zD9XuY86BjryV0jRxCK9cqCBlyZ3yO7QnvPDJ1HveA4SCxWOFeLp8jXoTKzvfKpuUdtbNzX4uPDdqSZ2kMkohQVQq0-el6HI_61PnkW4ND9ibi8weKQHVeU-TXnLgrYpvLNYxU7VvyaNCyEQVVuJ-y--pjKFAv8LzCfphCFnTNPcEHYQPz916GNosiF7fQCSUlOy0xzu9OSmlH11qQsnIAAaQ97zWG7NYaki5ryfXX8JlRAFmQFWRHAkCm_8hvb2Rhl_mMgdkPgP3hYJPFc-sCZAa5jNAaEJ9iLtXiwRo-ULux-xeOYTbNdZrcVJ6Z6&amp;__tn__=%2ANK-R\">SPC alumni<\/a>&nbsp;who work in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe certifications I received at SPC helped me move into a six figure position,\u201d said Tom Donnelly, an SPC alum who spoke at the workshop. \u201cTake advantage of these certifications, because they really do help.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft Energy\nFoundation<\/a>, the workshop gave prospective\nstudents the opportunity to try out the CAD software and learn about practical\napplications for 3D printing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One student commented, \u201c[The CAD workshop] allowed me to realize the real-life application of the software and all the possible directions it could lead.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SPC offers numerous certificates and degrees in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spcollege.edu\/future-students\/degrees-training\/engineering-manufacturing-and-building-arts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Engineering, Manufacturing and Building Arts<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Certificates include: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Computer-Aided Design and Drafting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engineering Technology Support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rapid Prototyping and Design <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A.S. and A.A. degrees in Engineering Technology, Architecture and Engineering are also available at SPC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the Engineering and Energy grant from the Duke Energy\nFoundation, additional workshops will be offered in the spring to
