This may require some patience and detective work to find what you are looking for.\u00a0 There is also the problem with limited content, distracting advertising, inconsistency of format, ease of access, and ease of use.\u00a0 Two that I would highly recommend are the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shodor.org\/interactivate\/activities\/\">Shodor site<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/illuminations.nctm.org\/Search.aspx?view=search&amp;type=ac\">Illuminations site<\/a> from the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nctm.org\/\"> National Council of Teacher of Mathematics<\/a> (NCTM).<\/p>\n<p>One of my favorites from the Shodor site is the tessellation creator <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.shodor.org\/interactivate\/activities\/Tessellate\/\">Tesselate<\/a>!\u00a0 <\/em>\u00a0Here you can explore an endless variety different patterns and colors.\u00a0 \u00a0Note the colorful school of fish below right.<\/p>\n<p><a Blocks is always a good way to learn:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>geometric shapes<\/li>\n<li>area ratios<\/li>\n<li>symmetries<\/li>\n<li>arranging objects on a plane surface<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/education-information\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/02\/math-5.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-4276 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/education-information\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/02\/math-5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"332\" height=\"261\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/education-information\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/02\/math-5.png 422w, https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/education-information\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/02\/math-5-300x236.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 332px) 100vw, 332px\" \/><\/a>Illuminations has good site<a href=\"http:\/\/illuminations.nctm.org\/activity.aspx?id=3577\"> <em>Patch Tool<\/em><\/a> which is easy to use for all sorts of math problem solving scenarios.\u00a0 Below I have created a pattern using all the available choices to show reflective symmetry.\u00a0 Another favorite is in the <a href=\"http:\/\/(http:\/\/www.mathplayground.com\/manipulatives\/MP_Geoboard_new.swf\">Math Playground collection<\/a> which is the Virtual Geoboard.\u00a0 Here you can explore geometric figures without worrying about your students or children finding other creative ways to use rubber bands.\u00a0 The example shows the relationship of a triangle to a rectangle.\u00a0\u00a0There are hundreds of possibilities waiting out there for you to explore and more coming along every day.\u00a0 They are<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/education-information\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/02\/math-6.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4277 alignleft\"
