This two-day, grant-funded event was offered to SPC practicum and internship students as well as, SPC adjuncts and district guests.<\/p>\n<p>Along with the professional development provided by the consortium and Learning Sciences International, attendees received educational resources to support implementation of the new Florida State Standards in their classrooms.<\/p>\n<p>SPC&#8217;s College of Education also hosted another Florida Standards Implementation Professional Development opportunity on May 29.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On April 16-17 the College of Education at St. Petersburg College in partnership with a consortium of state colleges and universities, hosted the Florida Standards Implementation Conference at the Clearwater Campus.
