Take the opportunity to hear from David Brooks – one of today\u2019s savviest journalists and television\/radio commentators – and to help provide scholarships for St. Petersburg College students!<\/p>\n

SPC students, faculty and friends are invited to join the SPC Foundation<\/a> on Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 7-9 p.m.<\/strong> at the Palladium Theater for its Second Annual Distinguished Speaker Event featuring New York Times<\/em> op-ed columnist and best-selling author David Brooks.<\/p>\n

Brooks has a gift for bringing audiences face-to-face with the spirit of our times with humor, insight and quiet passion through his keen observation of the American way of life.<\/p>\n

Proceeds from the event support student scholarships.<\/p>\n

Tickets can be purchased online.<\/a>\u00a0Orchestra level seating is $65, while balcony level is $55. A $30 student discount ticket also is available. The discount code for these tickets will be sent to students through their SPC email.<\/p>\n
