SPC students have many opportunities to get involved in civic leadership. Check them out below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2022 Civic Opportunities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Campus Vote Project<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.campusvoteproject.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Campus Vote Project<\/a><\/strong> is seeking students who are passionate about democratic engagement, politically interested, and self-starters to help peers register and vote and engage them in dialogue around democracy through a one-year fellowship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Compensation:<\/strong> New Fellows will receive a <strong>$1,200 stipend<\/strong> in two installments ($500 at the end of their first semester in the spring and $700 at the end of the fall semester). Fellows should be prepared to spend 10 hours per week on the program during the spring and fall semesters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to apply:<\/strong> Please submit a r\u00e9sum\u00e9 and cover letter to the Florida State Coordinator, Arielle Mizrahi, at <strong><a href=\"mailto:amizrahi@campusvoteproject.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">amizrahi@campusvoteproject.org<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Civic Influencers<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/civicinfluencers.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Civic Influencers<\/a><\/strong> is a nonpartisan, nonprofit that activates young people\u2019s civic power through organizing, learning, and advocacy. The organization uses real-time data to draw attention to democracy power outages on campuses and in communities and trains young people to fight for youth voting rights and the policies they care about. Civic Influencers designs youth-centered, data-driven civic action projects that remove barriers to voting and push decision-makers to give young people a seat at the table.<br><br><strong>Compensation:<\/strong> <strong>$700<\/strong> a semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to apply:<\/strong> Please complete the<strong> <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/airtable.com\/shrUdClTUx7ZOmOIE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>online Civic Influencers application<\/strong><\/a>, and a State Organizer will contact you ASAP to learn more about your experiences and passions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Public Interest Research Group (PIRG)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Student <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pirg.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PIRG&#8217;s<\/a><\/strong> New Voters Project is the country\u2019s oldest and largest, field-based youth voter engagement campaign.
