Constitution Day honors the signing of the US Constitution on September 17, 1787. Thus, we were celebrating the 230th anniversary of the US Constitution.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/civic-engagement\/constitutuon-day-seminole-campus\/22382308_248214109038005_9155850750482832727_o\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1528\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1528\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/civic-engagement\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/27\/2017\/10\/22382308_248214109038005_9155850750482832727_o-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/civic-engagement\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/27\/2017\/10\/22382308_248214109038005_9155850750482832727_o-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/civic-engagement\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/27\/2017\/10\/22382308_248214109038005_9155850750482832727_o-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/civic-engagement\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/27\/2017\/10\/22382308_248214109038005_9155850750482832727_o-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/civic-engagement\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/27\/2017\/10\/22382308_248214109038005_9155850750482832727_o.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Overall, students had a great time and learned quite a bit about their individual rights and civil liberties under the US Constitution.\u00a0 Indeed, oratorical participants passionately defended their various positions on the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. From the 2nd Amendment to impeachment articles, students displayed their research and presentation skills. The grand prize winnder (Bibin Thomas) received a $100 gift card from SGA\/Student Life.<\/p>\n<p>Many thanks to SGA\/Student Life and Malena Buck or helping us with this event.
