Career Fairs are essentially one of the greatest opportunities to <em>network<\/em>&nbsp;with hiring employers. This includes the chance to speak with industry leaders about your field of choice.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Career Fair Etiquette<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Remember, the moment you walk into the Career Fair, you are being observed. Appear professionally dressed, confident, and prepared. Professional attire is required; however, choose comfortable and lightweight clothing to avoid overheating after long periods of walking and standing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you approach employers, be prepared to introduce yourself and, if asked, provide your 30-second commercial or elevator pitch. An elevator pitch answers the prompt, <strong>\u201cTell Me About Yourself.\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;You should have prepared a few sentences describing yourself, your work history, and your intentions regarding employment with their organization. Remember to share professional information only!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Career Fair Tips<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Before the Career Fair<\/strong><ul><li>Prepare\/bring plenty of your r\u00e9sum\u00e9s  <\/li><li>Research companies in attendance<\/li><li>Be prepared for an interview on the spot<\/li><li>Stay hydrated!
