If you could look into your future, would you do it? Come play the Game of Life and get a window into your possible future based on the decisions you make in the next few years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Game of Life: What Will You Choose?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

What career will you\nchoose? How much money will you make? Will you start a family? How many\nchildren will you have? Will you buy a house or rent? What kind of car will you\ndrive? What financial hurdles will hit you along the way? How will these\nhurdles effect your financial standing? Join us to play a life-size version of\nthis classic game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no need to\nRSVP. Just drop in! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Date: Thursday, January 31<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time: 12:00 pm \u2013 2:00 pm <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location: St. Petersburg<\/strong> Gibbs Campus, SS Lobby (*food in the quad*)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choose an occupation\nand then build your life by visiting nine<\/strong>\nstations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Career decision<\/li>
  2. Education<\/li>
  3. How will you pay for your education<\/a><\/li>
  4. Will you marry and have kids<\/li>
  5. Roadblock or reward<\/li>
  6. Housing<\/li>
  7. Transportation<\/a><\/li>
  8. Health and wellness<\/a><\/li>
  9. Put it all together: Can you afford your life? <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Each station will provide relevant information including college and outside resources available to students. If you are not sure of your major or career path, this is a great way to try one out and explore a scenario. If you ARE sure, then come get a look into your crystal ball. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    St. Petersburg College students from all campuses are welcome to join us for this fun interactive game. Once you finish the game, stay and enjoy a catered lunch and share your future with fellow students. Was it what you thought it would be?
