The campus is hosting the fair\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">from 12 &#8211; 2 pm. Attendees will have a chance to interact with more than 20 employers from around the Tampa Bay area. Even if you\u2019re not in the market for a new job, this is a great event for networking with potential employers.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><strong>Make your mark<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Are you ready to meet your new boss? Here are a few tips for a successful job fair and to establish employer connections:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dress for success.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Guys<\/strong>: Slacks, button down shirt, and tie.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ladies: <\/strong>\u00a0A conservative business suit or a dress.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Make sure to use proper hygiene.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Guys:<\/strong>\u00a0Wear deodorant and shave. No overpowering scents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Have multiple copies of your resume ready to hand out.<\/li>\n<li>Practice your elevator speech.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure to give a firm handshake and make eye contact.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Community involvement<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Do you know someone looking for a job who is not enrolled at SPC? Feel free to invite them to the job fair.
