{"id":6038,"date":"2016-08-16T17:00:39","date_gmt":"2016-08-16T17:00:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/careers-internships\/?p=6038"},"modified":"2024-01-30T14:14:43","modified_gmt":"2024-01-30T19:14:43","slug":"importance-completing-my-learning-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/careers-internships\/importance-completing-my-learning-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"The importance of completing My Learning Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Career Services at the St. Petersburg College Clearwater Campus will be hosting several My Learning Plan workshops for students during the month of September.<\/p>\n<p>The workshops will be held in the Career Services office in the Administrative Services Building, Room AD 115, on September 12, 13, 26, and 27.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sept. 12 \u2013 9 -11 am; 12 -2 pm; and 5 &#8211; 7 pm<\/li>\n<li>Sept. 13 \u2013 9 -11 am; 12 -2 pm; and 5 &#8211; 7 pm<\/li>\n<li>Sept. 26 \u2013 9 -11 am; 12 -2 pm; and 5 &#8211; 7 pm<\/li>\n<li>Sept.\u00a027 \u2013 9 -11 am; 12 -2 pm; and 5 &#8211; 7 pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>My Learning Plan is a great tool for helping students to keep on track with their classes.\u00a0Think about the times you wanted to take a specific class and wished you placed it in your shopping cart but got sidetracked and forgot? By having your classes assigned and lined up in your MLP, you won\u2019t have to worry about searching for your class at the last minute.<\/p>\n<p>Stop by one of our MLP workshops and let us help you with assigning your classes in your My Learning Plan.<\/p>\n<p>Spring classes are available for viewing on Oct. 10. With your MLP completed you will be ready to place classes in your shopping cart and ready to register for your Spring 2017 classes on Oct. 26. By having classes in your MLP, students will not need to search for classes at the last minute when enrollment opens but just go to their MLP for the appropriate semester and enroll in their classes.<\/p>\n<p>If you are not able to stop by one of our My Learning Plan workshops, you can create your MLP by following these links:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.spcollege.edu\/central\/de\/docs\/Creating-MyLearning-Plan.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Creating a My Learning Plan (MLP)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.spcollege.edu\/pages\/dynamic.aspx?id=1479\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">My Learning Plan<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Career Services is here to help you succeed at achieving your goals.
