{"id":5579,"date":"2016-02-18T17:21:15","date_gmt":"2016-02-18T17:21:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/careers-internships\/?p=5579"},"modified":"2024-01-30T14:13:25","modified_gmt":"2024-01-30T19:13:25","slug":"graduate-leadership-academy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.spcollege.edu\/careers-internships\/graduate-leadership-academy\/","title":{"rendered":"SPC Graduate Leadership Academy starts Feb. 26"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Take what you&#8217;ve learned at SPC to the next level through the SPC Graduate Leadership Academy, a three-week program designed for those who are graduating from SPC in either the Spring or Summer 2016 terms.<\/p>\n<p>In the SPC Graduate Leadership Academy, you&#8217;ll learn about:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your personality type<\/li>\n<li>How to work in a team for winning situations<\/li>\n<li>How to interact in social situations<\/li>\n<li>How to prepare for job interviews<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The cost for the program is free and a continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Graduate Leadership Academy Schedule <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>To join the program, students must attend all three sessions held on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following schedule:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, Feb. 26<\/strong><br \/>\nClearwater Campus, ES-104<br \/>\nDuring this session, students will get to know about themselves as they review their Myers Briggs evaluation and attend an etiquette lunch.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, March 18<\/strong><br \/>\nHealth Education Center, 177-S<br \/>\nIn week two, students will intermingle with each other during a \u201cmocktail\u201d party and learn the art of communication.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, April 1<\/strong><br \/>\nHealth Education Center, 177-S<br \/>\nIn the final week, students will be involved in mock interviews and a business casual lunch.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How to apply<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/web.spcollege.edu\/survey\/20502\">Apply online today<\/a> to be considered for one of 20 spots in the Academy.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, please contact Stephanie Henningsen, 727-341-2623 or Mary Gerst, 727-341-3471.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Take what you&#8217;ve learned at SPC to the next level through the SPC Graduate Leadership Academy, a three-week program designed for those who are graduating from SPC in either the Spring or Summer 2016 terms.
