It is a multi-million dollar industry which produces video games for consumers to purchase all over the world. Video Game Designers<\/a> are people who plan, design, and create video games. They will often work as a team to create a game for electronic gaming consoles.\u00a0\u00a0 Among these teams, some place their focus on certain aspects of the design process.\u00a0 For example, one group will work on settings and backgrounds while another group may be working on the characters and animation.\u00a0 Within this job you may be working on several different projects at one time. Working on a game can usually take long hours and up to a couple of years depending on how in depth the design of the game is. Most jobs in that field require the recipient to have a bachelor\u2019s degree in either Game Art & Design, Multimedia Design and Development (BFA), Graphic Design, or Animation.
