Building a strong future can be more challenging for some than others, depending on the past. We don\u2019t believe that a mistake (or even a few mistakes) should disqualify you from achieving all of your dreams. We want to motivate and empower you to make the most of your future!<\/p>\n

The Downtown Campus of St. Petersburg College is hosting attorney and professor, Dr. Christy Powers<\/em> to speak about the potential of having a bright future, even if your past wasn\u2019t. Dr. Powers will give a holistic and comprehensive talk about the issues in students\u2019 pasts and solutions for how to overcome them. Whether you are worried about your own past, a friend or family member, or just interested in the topic of Criminal Justice, this will be a great lecture.\"Overcoming<\/a>
