Prior to these positions, Steve was the Technical Research Coordinator for CTC Tampa Bay (CTCTB) where he was responsible for coordinating research for CTCTB\u2019s Business Readiness Reviews (BRR) and conducting technical research for the military, government and first responder markets.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Times New Roman\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Further, Steve coordinated research for STAR TEC\u2019s TEC Launch Program.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Times New Roman\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">In that role, Steve\u2019s responsibilities included coordinating market research, developing relationships with industry associations, government organizations, and local community economic development groups as well as coordinating new platforms for entrepreneurs to showcase inventions or early stage technologies.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Times New Roman\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Before rejoining St. Petersburg College, Steve previously held the position of Client Account Manager specializing in customized training programs for the SPC.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Times New Roman\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">Steve holds a BS in Management from the University of Tampa, and was a member of the 1993 National Championship Baseball Team. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Follow internship news at SPC on Twitter at\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search\/realtime?q=%23spcintern&amp;src=hash\"><em><strong>#spcintern<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mr. Steve Ford has been with St. Petersburg College since August 2012.\u00a0 He is currently the organization\u2019s Employment and Internship Coordinator on the Tarpon Springs Campus.\u00a0 In this role, Steve is responsible for identifying, creating, and tracking internships and employment opportunities for SPC students.\u00a0 Further, he will work to build relationships with target industries, provide &hellip;
