This two-day festival is anticipated to attract 10,000 people through <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tampagov.net\/parks_search_webapp\/ParkDetail.aspx?nbr=159\">Curtis Hixon Park<\/a> in Downtown Tampa. The new Street Team\u00a0\u00a0received funding through an innovative grant to expose students in the music industry to relevant events, local community professionals, and networking opportunities to enhance employability.<\/p>\n<p>The MIRA Street Team will volunteer their time\u00a0at the MIRA\/WMNF tent to promote awareness of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spcollege.edu\/mira\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MIRA<\/a> program at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spcollege.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SPC<\/a>. As an extension of the <a href=\"http:\/\/gasparillamusicfestival.com\/#!\/about\/general\">Gasparilla Music Festival&#8217;s mission<\/a> to enhance music education, MIRA Street Team members will promote their program, in newly branded gear, to network and partner with\u00a0well-seasoned <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wmnf.org\/about\">WMNF<\/a> volunteers and staff. Tune in to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wmnf.org\/about\">88.5 WMNF<\/a> on Saturday, March 8th, to hear MIRA student, Doug Leto, assist sound engineers for a live WMNF music broadcast.<\/p>\n<p>Come volunteer and support the Street Team&#8217;s first of many events!
